|
To insure fairness to all partners the following rules apply to all traffic partnership participants.
|
||||
| Allowed/Prohibited Sites | ||||
| 1) We welcome most all sites as partners except those containing, or containing links to, content promoting illegal activity or advice, racism, hate, spam, porn, warez or hacking. We do reserve the right to delete any site, at any time, that we determine contains inappropriate site content. | ||||
| Ownership | ||||
| 2) You must be the legal site owner/operator of the domain and banner you submit and you may only submit it once at any one time. Your site title must match what is on your site, may not be in all capital letters and may not contain swear or otherwise inappropriate words. | ||||
| 3) You agree that from time to time we may send emails to the email address you provide for news and/or account maintenance purposes. As per our privacy policy, your address will not be sold or rented. | ||||
| Buttons (Optional) | ||||
| 4) If you are submitting a button, then the requirement is to submit an originally sized 88x31 logo. The button must be hosted on your server and be 10KB or less in size. All buttons are subject to approval and can be rejected at anytime for any reason. | ||||
| Adding Traffic Code | ||||
| 5) You must add one of the provided banners or links located here, within 24 hours of signing up, on one or more of your site's pages. Code may not be edited in anyway and links cannot be opened into frames. Removal of code will cause your stats to be reset or your site deleted. | ||||
| Encouraging Traffic | ||||
| 6) You may not use misleading or deceptive text or banners to encourage people to visit. When you provide links to HotCandlestick.com, visitors must always know that they are visiting HotCandlestick.com when their actions cause a visit to be made. | ||||
| Traffic Limits | ||||
| 7) Each partner may receive one hit, per person, per 24 hour period. All hits are logged and any attempts to circumvent this rule will be detected resulting in the deduction of hits from your account. | ||||
| Ranking Updates | ||||
| 8) The traffic partnership rankings are automatically updated every day. All sites hits are reset at the same time once a month to insure fairness to new partners. | ||||
| Inactive Accounts | ||||
| 9) Accounts that have not added our graphic or link within 24 hours, as per section 5, or send less than 7 visitors a week are subject to deletion. | ||||
